How Can I Be Saved?
The question that brought you to this page may seem strange at first. Many people do not feel that they need to be saved, but feelings can be deceiving. The Bible tells us that we have all sinned against the glory of God and that because God's glory is limitless, the punishment for our sin against it is an endless experience of torment. But God, in His mercy, has made a way of escape. Christ has paid the penalty for all who belong to Him. Belonging to Christ is described in many ways in the Scriptures but we urge you to consider the ABCs below as a way to understand how God's mercy can be applied to your life.
A - Admit that you are a sinner, not just against others or even your conscience, but against God, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
B - Believe that Jesus has paid the penalty for your sins. God did not wait for us to be good enough to earn His love (we never would be) but God demonstrated His love to us in this: while we were still sinners Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
C - Confess your faith in Christ as you live a life that brings glory to Him, for if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved (Romans 10:9)
