"Celebration of Faithfulness” in August
Sunday, August 1st begins our 2010 Stewardship Emphasis, a “Celebration of Faithfulness.” The month will feature teaching on stewardship, testimonies from our members, and a fellowship luncheon on August 8th. Join us as we celebrate God’s provision and renew our commitment to Him in this important area of our church life.
Women’s Ministry Breakfast, August 28th
Our ladies enjoyed a wonderful time of planning and fellowship at our July meeting! Our next event is scheduled for Saturday, August 28th. We will meet at the church at 8:30 am, then head over to Embassy Suites for breakfast at 9:00. The cost for breakfast is $10.00. We also plan to cut out pillowcase patterns for a ministry to local charities, hospitals, shelters, etc. If you would like to bring fabric for the pillowcases, we need pieces that are 1 1/8 yards x 44/45" wide. (You may even want to bring a sheet that can be cut into pieces.) Please RSVP to Beth Sims (223-7467) or to the church office, so we can have an accurate number for breakfast and who is bringing fabric. We look forward to seeing you there!
Looking for a Place to Serve?
This is the time of year when our Life Stewardship Committee begins to search for people to serve in the various ministries of our church. We can always use help in Sunday School, AWANA, senior adult ministries, outreach, youth ministry, children’s ministry, administration or hospitality. Just let us know that you’re interested and we’ll help you find a place to use the gifts God has given you. Contact the church office at 425-4991.
